		<description>You have to be careful about illegal phishing, but take note, Discover participates in illegal phishing as well.  So even if you call for an issue, be careful about what information you are providing.  

I have a few Discovercard horror stories where they do practice in some predatory and questionable practices.</description>

		<description>What I generally do in those cases is call the number on the back of my credit card, instead of the number in the message.  Ask to be connected to their fraud department, and if there really is a problem with the card, the Real discover people will know about it, and you have confidence you are talking to the right people.</description>

		<description>I would give them a fake number. Or I would say, "Sure, but for security purposes could you tell me your corporate mailing address?"

Scammers with 800 numbers -- sounds like something that could easily be dealt with. But sheesh.</description>
