An argument in favor of client side aggregators. There's been some discussion on and off about the raison-d'etre of client side aggregators. Given the fact that I've spent a few hours designing an building what is essentially a new kind of client side aggregator, it's something I've given some thought to. Particularly because I'm a strong proponent of Web-based, server-side User Interfaces.
So, this comment from Dave Winer was welcome, where he reminds us that about how cool enclosures can be. And if I am not mistaken, smart treatment of enclosures would be an argument in favor of client-side aggregators.
