Bush on TV, quoting two blogs
Is this a sign of the times? President Bush is on TV right now giving a speech about why he's right about Iraq. To bolster his case, he quotes two bloggers located in Baghdad! (Jokingly: "yeah, they have bloggers in Baghdad too, heh, heh") Of course he doesn't cite the sources or the links so I can't tell anything about where the flowery quotes come from. Still it's a sign of the stature that blogs are getting in the public discourse.

I saw that on CNN. That was such a bunch of BS.
For every Iraqi blogger that has a soundbyte that Bush can promote, there's a myriad of them who despair of their situation and despise Bush.
Give the guy a break. Any one of us uses what ever we can to support our position. PS, do you think the leader of the free world has the time to read some bogglers blog?
Also, keep one thing in mind, any president probably know more about what's going on in this world (all the nastily stuff you never hear about) then we do.
